Make a pledge to raise money
It is up to you whether you participate as an individual, as an organisation, school or business. You can either make a donation or pledge to raise sponsorship. You can make a donation or get sponsorship to cycle to work, to school or participate in a cycling event. So long as you are on your bike and having fun, anything goes!
After Bike Week please send us photos of your event/s and a description, as we would like to compile an album, showing Colchesters fundraising activities, to send along with the shipment of Bikes to BEN Namibia.
Please complete the pledge form below so that we have an idea of how many are going to participate.
Post Bike Week – Donating your money
Once bike week is over please donate your money or funds raised by one of the following methods
- By credit or debit card – via the secure donations facility on the Re-cycle website www.re-cycle-east.org.uk please choose Colchester2020 Bike Week from the drop down.
- Write a cheque to Re-Cycle and write Colchester2020, BEN Namibia on the back. Send it to:
Re-Cycle, Unit A – Global Park, Moorside, Colchester, CO1 2TW - Provide cash in person to the Re-Cycle office at Moorside, Colchester, you will be provided with a receipt and Gift Aid form to complete
Records will be kept of all participating organisations, schools and individuals and the money that each raises, so that this can be published in due course.
If you are an individual raising sponsorship or giving a donation, you can Gift Aid it, so that Re-cycle can reclaim the tax from the government. If you donate via the website this will happen automatically.
