Bike Week Guided by Nokia

Bike Week 2008

Get your bike on the road

First things first you need to make sure you have a safe and roadworthy bike, so drag your bike out of the shed, dust it off and consider the options below:

Dr Bike check ups will be available across the community from May 3rd 2008 in the lead up to Bike Week.

A Dr Bike check up is the equivalent of an MOT. The check will take around 10 – 15 minutes. Any problems will be detailed on an MOT checklist. Although only minor repairs and adjustments will be made, the checklist will detail any further work required. You can take the checklist to a local retailer, some of which are offering discounts, to carry out the repairs. Retailer discounts offered will be detailed here in due course.

The check is free (donations to Re-Cycle would be welcomed) and you can just turn up with your bike at any of the sessions.

Dates, times and locations are detailed below, please visit  www.bikeweek.org.uk  for full information and details of further Dr Bike sessions being added.
